Checklist for Potential Meeting Rooms Capacity of room Fee or free? If fee, how much? Remember to tell your meeting room contact that you are with the Capital PC User Group, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational organization. Availability--Third Saturdays--noon to 5 pm Street address--and is door on that street? Room number and directions to that room within building Any special Web site helpful to point to for potential attendees? Parking
Projection screen or blank wall? Lectern? High-resolution projection for connection to laptop? Overhead projector for transparencies? Phone jack for Internet connection? Electrical outlets--at least 2? Extension cords needed? Chalkboard? Whiteboard? Easel tripod? Easel paper? Wheelchair access?
Refrigerator? Microwaves? Softdrink/coffee machines available in building? Likely to be stocked? If the room meets your needs, be sure to reserve it as far as possible in advance. Some sites require that reservations be made a certain number of days in advance.
