RSS Feeds and Blogs for Business
Speaker: Bob Bailey, Message Builders

Description: What's a blog, a feed, RSS? What's a newsreader or aggregator? How do these things fit into your business plan? How are they different from Web sites, e-mail, and other online marketing techniques? We'll look at these questions and more and help you decide if these are opportunities for you or just more high-tech fluff. Attendees get examples, explanations, and more.

Speaker: A former software developer, marketing manager, and sales manager, Bob Bailey has the knowledge and experience to help executives and entrepreneurs reach their goals. His knowledge of technospeak enables him to help speakers translate jargon into language that is technically meaningful yet persuasively effective. Bob is outstanding at creating analogies and translating features into benefits.

Bob was the Presentation Coach for the Storyboard Project (cosponsored by Interboard, the Netpreneur Program, and the George Mason University Technology Resource Alliance). In 1978, after founding Washington Whitewater, he began presenting and coaching. He has been active in Toastmasters and in the National Capital Speakers Association (NCSA). In 1996 Bob was chosen to present at NCSA's Speakers School.

Bob Bailey's company, Message Builders, focuses on entrepreneurs, executives, systems engineers, and sales and marketing personnel. Through its consultation services in Web site text content and in presentation development, and through its workshops on the elevator speech and on communicating a core message, Message Builders helps clients develop and communicate compelling messages
