Baking a Podcast—Easy As Pie

Speaker: Mike Weiner, President/CEO, The Image Generators, Inc.

So, you've got an idea to produce a podcast. You've heard them—some well produced, others, well, not. All you know is that everyone seems to be doing one. Where do you start? During this overview of the process of podcast creation, you will learn—

  • How to ask the questions your podcast will answer
  • What elements go into a production to make it sound better than ordinary
  • How to identify your target audience
  • When are you ready to piece it together
  • Where should you record (Hint: Not in your office!)
  • Why the extra effort can pay off

Speaker Mike Weiner will share some of the ingredients that go into creating your own podcast, or what you need to look for if hiring a contractor to do the work.

Speaker: Mike Weiner brings 36 years of broadcast and production expertise to this seminar. He is a nationally recognizable voiceover talent and producer, and, in addition to radio, television, film, and multimedia production, he is hired regularly to create podcasts for clients such as Fortune 100 corporations and federal agencies, including the U.S. Department of Energy.

Mike holds a BS in Communication Arts, a BA in Business and Management, and an MBA in marketing, along with an advanced degree from the SOHK. (He'll tell you what that is during his presentation.)

Mike Weiner formed The Image Generators, Inc., in 1985 to create marketing communications that tell the client's story. He has vast resources of talent throughout the United States, including in his Washington, DC, hometown, and in Hollywood, California. The mission of The Image Generators is to make you sound great!
