Interactive Workshop
Walk the Talk:
Coaching for the Entrepreneur or Would-Be Entrepreneur
Workshop Leader: Cliff Bailey, Life Coach and Computer Doctor

Audience: Consultants, Small Business Owners, Entrepreneurs, Soon-To-Be Small Business Owners, and Small Business Managers

Description: Coaching can change the way you see the world and its possibilities. Seeing new possibilities enables you to take new actions. These new actions give you the changes you seek.

The job of a coach is to cause that shift—a shift in the way you see your world and what is possible.

Join us for an afternoon of interactive coaching (not a talk about coaching). Several members of the audience (who volunteer) will be coached. Everyone will receive value from this coaching, whether coached or not.

Workshop Leader: As a life coach, Cliff Bailey works with executives, managers, lawyers, and others, helping them have the lives of their dreams.

Cliff also works with small business owners and managers as The Computer Doctor, keeping computer systems running smoothly and encouraging a switch to Linux (with some success). He has been in the computer industry since 1972, beginning his own consulting firm in 1977. Since then he has worn many hats: selling Unix-based computer systems; writing programs in languages as diverse as COBOL, Java, and Smalltalk; and performing system and network administration, and day-to-day management of production systems. Clients are businesses with a need for IT support but with too few computers to justify a full-time support staff.

Cliff Bailey is an active Capital PC User Group (CPCUG) member, former CPCUG DC Vice President, and past president of the GLITCHDC SIG, where he is a Linux advocate. He has also been a contributing editor for the Monitor, CPCUG's magazine.
