Public Relations, PR, Publicity, Spin, Media Relations--these terms are often thrown around conference rooms and board rooms, but what do they mean, and, more importantly, what can they do for--or against--your bottom line? During this presentation, attendees will learn:
Speaker: Linda Dickerhoof, founder and president of Signature Strategy, Inc, is an experienced public relations practitioner, marketer, communicator, and special event planner. Prior to founding Signature Strategy, Inc., Linda gained a wide variety of experience, rising quickly through the ranks from entry-level to managerial positions in public relations, marketing, and corporate communication in for-profit companies and nonprofit organizations. Former employers include the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS); UUNET, a WorldCom Company; the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE); Coldwell Banker Stevens, Realtors; and Disabled Sports, USA. Linda also teaches public relations and public speaking at her alma mater, George Mason University, where she earned a B.A. in Speech Communication. She holds an M.A. in Public Communication from American University. Signature Strategy, Inc., is a full-service public relations agency, specializing in comprehensive, integrated public relations, marketing, and communication services.
