How To Create a Web Site Book Talk, Audience Discussion, and Q&A: THE BOOK: Webmaster Boot Camp® (new, by Heidi Swenson) [Publisher, Digital Division, Inc.; November 2001] Speaker and Discussion Leader: Amanda Mitchell, Digital Division, Inc.
Heidi Swenson, the President of Digital Division, Inc., has written Webmaster Boot Camp®, a book providing the information needed to design, build, and maintain a Web site. Readers learn HTML, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, JavaScript, Java applets, and more. At this meeting Amanda Mitchell will be our guide through the process of creating a Web site via the Webmaster Boot Camp® book, which reveals insider webmaster workarounds to HTML problems; Dreamweaver tips to speed Web site design, development, and maintenance; download time reduction with slicing in Fireworks; Java applet customization with HTML; what you can do with JavaScript; and, perhaps most important, how to put it all together and publish a user friendly Web site. Ample time will be set aside to answer your questions about getting started in designing, creating, and maintaining Web pages--come to this meeting and get the answers you need!
