Windows Networking and Wi-Fi Security:
Installation and Setup For Small Office and Home Office Users

Speaker:
Luis Garcia, CPCUG Virginia SIG Chair, and Mark Mabee, IT Network Pro

Attendees will get information they can use immediately to set up secure small and home office networks. Topics to be covered include requirements, installation, setup, sharing, encryption, and testing for networking Windows computers and securing wireless Wi-FI networks. And, best of all, this won't be just a PowerPoint presentation: Attendees will see, in person, the process of network installation and setup. Questions are welcome.

Speaker: Luis Garcia is Chair of the CPCUG Virginia SIG. He has also been the CPCUG Virginia Vice President and a mentor on the CPCUG Build Your Own Computer Team. In an earlier life (or, at least, in another decade), Luis was the Assistant SIG Chair for Education for CPCUG's OS/2 SIG.

In real life, Luis Garcia has helped folks around the world for the U.S. Census Bureau.
