Be an Independent Consultant--The Easy Way
Speaker: Dwight Barbour, .NET Community Builder, Section 508 and ASP.NET Educator and Developer

Audience:

  • Anyone considering going independent
  • Anyone operating a sole proprietorship
  • Anyone seeking medical benefits
Learning Objectives:
  • To understand the concept of outsourcing the business entity
  • To discover the ease of going into business without headaches and liability
  • To learn how to access retirement and medical benefits as an entrepreneur
Description: Dwight Barbour shares his secrets on going solo. Learn how he became--in just a few days--an independent consultant with medical and retirement benefits. In addition, with this technique
he instantly had a business manager, accountant, and lawyer supporting his business.

Dwight's "secret" to success is outsourcing his business entity. The outsourced company handles the "behind the scenes" work, freeing him to do what he does best--provide technical expertise.

There will be plenty of time for Q&A, so bring your questions and pick up some tips you can use to start or to grow your business, whatever it may be.

Speaker:  Dwight Barbour is a Web consultant specializing in accessible data-driven Web sites. His toolset includes ASP and ASP.NET (VB.Net and C#). He has taught at George Washington University,
Georgetown University, the USDA Graduate School, and the University of the District of Columbia.

Dwight has outsourced his own business entity for the last 6 years.

Dwight may be reached by e-mail
